     Gorilla BowlZ is a collaboration of three sisters to serve their community at the peak of the 2020 pandemic. Lorrie is a chef who studied holistic nutrition and culinary arts and was trained in San Francisco, California. Ronna is a certified Les Mills BODYPUMP instructor trained in Kuala Lumpur. Kim is an Ashtanga yoga teacher in the Philippines, trained under David Swenson at PURE Yoga, Hong Kong. Together, we crafted unique, flavorful bowlZ and burritoZ to cater to the Generation Z's "gorilla buffs." Gorilla buff is the term used to describe an active and busy person who values the importance of a healthy lifestyle and a strong immune system.
     Gorilla BowlZ is a healthy, fresh, high-quality alternative to fast casual dining. The bowlZ and burritoZ are made using whole food ingredients that are unprocessed and unrefined or processed and refined as little as possible. Quality ingredients mean real flavor -- no artificial flavors, no colors, and no microwaves. Real food means using ingredients that you can pronounce -- kosher salt, sesame seeds, olive oil, fresh vegetables prepared daily, and gorilla sauces made from whole food ingredients. 
     The driving force behind the idea was our father's legacy of good character, hard work, and commitment to service. Starting this health food business is more than just our passion, it is in commemoration of  our father who was an extraordinary leader and businessman.
